Starting upstairs, guests were invited to a sensory coffee ceremony before being invited downstairs for an eating-with-hands dinner exhibition by acclaimed Bay Area chefs Adiam Tsegaye (Mela Bistro), Reem Assil (Reem’s California), Francis Ang (ABACÁ), and Srijith “Sri” Gopinathan (Copra).
Diners gathered in the main gallery surrounded by local photographer Brandon Ruffin’s work which captured the chefs practicing their chosen, edible art.
The open kitchen served as a stage for each chef to showcase their dishes and create a convivial conversation with guests.
