@misterleedesigns
Tyson Lee, creative director and founder of Mister Lee Designs, is a floral artist based in San Francisco, California. He is known as “the sculptor of dying things” but his flowers enliven every space. A self-taught florist since the age of 15, Lee approaches floristry with a sculptural aesthetic that balances masculinity and femininity. His love of florals goes beyond the stem and enters the world of design in fashion and interiors.
YINA
@yina.co
YINA was founded by Angela and Ervina as a channel to share wellness rituals inspired by Chinese Medicine. A portmanteau of both founders’s names, YINA means "harmony and beauty" and stems from the company’s belief that the two go hand in hand. YINA embodies personalized modern wellness rituals that are rooted in traditional wisdom.
The Meaning Behind Mid-Autumn
“In Taiwanese culture, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a moment to prepare for the upcoming harvest. In this class, we’re going to play with abundance through florals and create a collective art installation before everyone takes their arrangements home. We’ll meditate on what we’d like to physically manifest, all while feeling confident and proud about our creative powers.”
- Tyson Lee, Artist-in-Residence
“In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Autumn is a time to harvest, fix and prepare for the year ahead. It means removing what doesn’t serve our futures, so we can be reborn in the spring. We’ll refine and distill our chi through self-massage and immune support, while explaining TCM foundations like the metal element and lung channel.”
- Angela Gray, Co-Founder of YINA
